About Signal Master
A small Darwin company that specialises, and stays.
Signal Master Pty Ltd designs, installs and supports MATV, audio visual and CCTV systems for commercial and multi-dwelling clients across Darwin and the Northern Territory. We have been doing it since 2000, and in Darwin since 2007.
How we got here
Signal Master was established in Melbourne in April 2000. In August 2007 the business made a sea change to Darwin, because we saw a need for a specialist company in MATV distribution systems: one with a high level of technical capability and knowledge, and a level of customer service to match.
It did not take long to get established. The business grew by word of mouth, and it still does. Our partnership style of relationship lets clients focus on their own business without worrying about the technical side of the systems we look after. As their requirements grew, so did ours: we up-skilled in audio visual and CCTV, with ongoing training, certification and accreditation in each field.

Digital antenna, satellite and MATV/SMATV systems
- MATV and SMATV distribution for small to large commercial, multi-dwelling unit (MDU) and high-rise developments
- Residential connections as required by the body corporate management companies we work with
- Foxtel MDU approved contractor for stand-alone or integrated IF distribution systems
- Foxtel for Business approved installer of integrated systems into hotels and accommodation businesses
CCTV surveillance systems
- NT Government approved CCTV surveillance systems installer
- Approved to install CCTV in pubs and clubs to meet NT Gaming and Liquor Licensing requirements
- Design and installation for small to large commercial businesses, with CheckMyCCTV remote health monitoring
Audio visual systems
- Public address (PA) and background music (BGM) professional audio for pubs and clubs
- Audio video distribution of HD modulated services: digital free-to-air, FoxSports, Nightlife Music and in-house providers such as Multi-Screen
Every Signal Master technician holds a Certificate III in Digital Reception Technology and/or Telecommunications. We are ACMA licensed, a Milestone certified partner and a Territory Proud member business.
Who runs it
Chris Turkmen, systems specialist, has led Signal Master from the start and still does the site surveys himself. When you call 0400 112 447, that is who answers.
